Liverpool, Everton and Arsenal are currently monitoring Lyon box to box midfielder Tanguy Ndombele according to reports from the Daily Mirror.
The young Frenchman has recently emerged as one of Europe’s top midfield sensations and it is being reported that Lyon owner Jean-Michel Aulas rejected bids upwards of £45m in the summer from Premier League champions Manchester City.
Liverpool, who have previous history in dealing with Aulas when the club tried to sign Nabil Fékir during the summer window, seem to currently be in the market for a box to box midfielder. The Reds have recently been linked with Ndombele’s Les Bleus teammate Adrien Rabiot.
The Reds’ Merseyside rivals Everton, who Liverpool beat 1-0 at Anfield on Sunday, have watched Ndombele four times in recent months as well as sending chief scout Martyn Glover to watch the Les Gones midfielder in person.
The 21-year-old could be another option for Klopp in case a deal with Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Rabiot falls through.
