Liverpool join Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur in tracking highly-rated English left back Lloyd Kelly of Bristol City, according to a report from the Daily Mirror.
The 20-year-old’s impressive performances for the Sky Bet Championship side have alerted the top clubs in the Premier League. He has also caught the eye of Gareth Southgate who called Kelly up to train with the senior squad earlier this season.
The links come after it was earlier reported that current left back Alberto Moreno is set to leave on a free at the end of the season after contract talks stalled.
Moreno has only played 156 minutes for the reds in the Premier League this season after falling out of favour to Andrew Robertson who signed from Hull for £8m last season.
It is unclear whether the Reds will act on their interest in Lloyd or will turn to academy prospect Adam Lewis as cover for Robertson, should the Spaniard be allowed to leave.
