Liverpool are closely tracking Red Bull Salzburg centre forward Munas Dabbur according to a report from Football Whispers.
The Israel international has 16 goals in all competitions this season and is seen as an ideal back up to the Reds No. 9 Roberto Firmino.
Dabbur was a key figure in Salzburg’s Europa league campaign which seen them reach the semi-finals of the tournament. The Israeli was involved in eight goals throughout the tournament.
The report from Football Whispers also reveals that Liverpools chief scout Barry Hunter has flown to Austria on numerous occasions to watch Dabbur in action for the Austrian Champions.
Jurgen Klopp’s Reds have also been linked to RB Leipzig’s Timo Werner according to reports from Germany.
Werner, who has been linked with a move to Liverpool before, has previously said it is his dream to play in the Premier League.
The German international could set Liverpool back upwards of £88 million, which was the price that Leipzig slapped on their prize asset back in March.
The recent links to Dabbur and Werner seem to suggest Dominic Solanke, Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi have all fallen down the pecking order at Liverpool.
Origi is reportedly expected to leave the Reds in January whereas Solanke has been linked with a loan move to Rangers, who are managed by Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard.
