Liverpool take on Wolves at Molineux as the Reds begin their FA Cup campaign for the 2018/19 season.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have been going well so far this season, currently sitting four points clear of Manchester City in the Premier League and having qualified for the Knockout Stages of the UEFA Champions League.
Liverpool have had mixed fortunes in this competition since the turn of the millennium – the Reds won the FA Cup in 2006 in THAT memorable game against West Ham United, but have also suffered some embarrassing defeats to lower-league teams.
At this stage in 2017/18, it was Virgil van Dijk that came to the Reds’ rescue on his debut – he rose highest from a corner to head the Reds into a 2-1 lead in front of The Kop, earning bragging rights for the Red half of the city and instantly cementing his place as a fans’ favourite at Anfield in one fell swoop.
So, as a little FA Cup quiz for you, try and name EVERY opponent that Liverpool have faced at this stage of the competition since 2000 – you have five minutes… GO!
