Liverpool are among numerous Premier League clubs said to be monitoring Club Brugge winger Arnaut Groeneveld, according to the Daily Mail.
Liverpool face competition from Tottenham Hotspur as well as the blue half of Merseyside, Everton – Italian outfit AC Milan have also had a £9m bid rejected.
Groeneveld has impressed for his side netting five goals and assisting four in all competitions this season including a UEFA Champions League goal against Atletico Madrid.
The Dutchman’s impressive start to this season earned him a debut for the national team. in which he played against former-world champions Germany.
The 21-year-old is currently out with an ankle problem. The injury hasn’t seemed to be a big issue for interested parties, however, with Tottenham Hotspur, Everton and Liverpool all set to rival the San Siro club for the winger’s signature in this window.
However, If Klopp is to sign Groeneveld he may have to hijack the deal from Milan with Calcio Mercato reporting that a deal is close between the Rossoneri and Club Brugge.
