I’ve not quite settled down, to be honest with you.

I felt the the title race reignite as Toby Alderweireld inadvertently bundled the ball to hand Liverpool an all important victory in the Premier League.

And, as it trickled over the line, I felt the flames flicker at Manchester City’s feet even more intensely.

With just a few games to go, the final sprint to the finish line is well and truly on, and Liverpool are going nowhere fast.

Here’s how the Reds rated…

Starting XI

Alisson: 6 – Didn’t have much to do but looked nervy at times. Little he could do with the equaliser, though.

TAA: 7 – Provided good width down the right hand side, but was somewhat outdone by the effervescent Scot on the opposite side of the pitch. Could possibly have done more to prevent Spurs’ equaliser. But in the end it didn’t matter.

Matip: 7 – Did alright, but I can’t imagine Joe Gomez will be having sleepless nights as he looks to gain his place back in the side after a lengthy injury.

Virgil: 8.5 – Gave an uncharacteristically sloppy ball away in the first half, yet didn’t have much to do throughout. Otherwise brilliant. Felt the tears welling up in my eyes as the screen showed him limping around the pitch, but I’m sure he’ll be okay.

Robbo: 8.5 – Postman Andy with another perfect delivery there for Bobby’s goal. Superb block to deny Eriksen as well. Excellent down the left hand side.

Hendo: 7 – Had a few nervy moments in the first half which were sure to delight his many critics. Did alright for the remainder.

Gini: 7.5 – Characteristically tidy in the middle of the park. Just the usual from the Dutchman.

Jimmy: 7 – Like Wijnaldum, the Englishman was tidy yet unspectacular in possession. It’s too cliché to say Mr Reliable, but that’s exactly what he is. Fails to offer an awful lot going forward, though.

Sadio: 7.5 – The in-form Senegalese wasn’t as effective in this game as he has been in recent outings, but still provided a useful outlet down the left hand side as well as inside.

Mo: 7 – The Egyptian has looked severely blunted whilst in pursuit of his 50th Premier League goal for the Reds. Caused mayhem in the 90th minute as the ball crossed the line in the scrappiest of ways as Alderweireld put through his own net. The raucous Kop belting his name once more will undoubtedly instil Salah with some much needed confidence.

Bobby: 7 – Great header from a superb Andy Robertson cross. Worked well all game.

Substitutes

Divvy: 7 – Got a penchant for having a decisive impact late on, and was involved here as well. Becoming a useful wildcard for Liverpool.

Fab: 7.5 – His mile-long legs can wrap around pretty much anything nick the ball away. Helped to change the tide of the game in Liverpool’s favour after he came on.

Degsy: N/A – Hello again.
