QUIZ: Liverpool players who have scored hat-tricks in the Premier League era

Score a goal and everyone is happy. Score a brace and you’re a hero. If you manage to get yourself a hat-trick, through, then that’s a sure-fire way to become a fans’ favourite among the Anfield faithful.

In the Premier League era — since the beginning of the 1992/93 season — 49 hat-tricks have been scored by Liverpool players in all competitions.

In total, 21 players have had the honour of registering three goals in a single game while wearing the famous red shirt (unless they were wearing an away or third kit at the time, but you get my drift).

How many of them can you name? You’ve got six minutes to get them all, but you do have the date of the game and the name of the opposition to help you.

To be clear, players who scored more than three in one game aren’t included in this quiz. So, for example, Mohamed Salah’s four-goal haul against Watford in March 2018 is NOT included on the list.

I am the editor, but don't let that fool you. I'm not sure I know what I'm doing either. I'm not superstitious, but I am a little stitious.
