It’s been a long time, but Liverpool finally played in front of fans when they took to the pitch against Burnley.
Unfortunately, none of them were chanting their support of the Reds, as the entire crowd of 3,500 at Turf Moor was made up of Clarets fans.
But they couldn’t make too much of a difference, as Liverpool eased to a 3-0 victory to move into fourth place.
Roberto Firmino scored just before half time to put the visitors ahead, and Nathaniel Phillips headed in a second 10 minutes into the second half.
And, right at the death, substitute Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain rifled home to seal the win and put an even wider grin on the Liverpool fans watching from home.
